Habitat for Humanity’s Build a Home Frame a Future Fundraiser

Please join us for a free fundraising breakfast benefiting Willamette West Habitat for Humanity this Friday, May 9th. Meet our families and hear their inspiring stories. Learn how Habitat provides not charity but opportunity to worthy families shackled by poverty—and how you can support our mission!

When I started Mountainwood Homes, one of my desires was to have a company that gave back to the communities in which we serve. I believe we must do all we can.  To me, the biggest draws of Habitat besides that of helping less fortunate achieve home ownership was that each potential homeowners must put in 500 hours of “sweat equity” work to earn an opportunity to buy a Habitat home. I am a big believer in that which is worked for will mean far more than that which is given freely. Habitat is building communities of families who are proud of their homes because they have been a part of creating their own neighborhood. I’m proud to serve on the board of directors for the Willamette West Habitat for Humanity, and I get to see firsthand the impact this organization makes in the lives of families in our community.

This is an extremely well-organized one hour event in which you will learn more about Habitat for Humanity and how you can help low income families have the blessings of home ownership in our own community and abroad.

BREAKFAST:  7:30am – 8:30am with emcee Jeff Gianola, check-in begins at 7:00am

Please email Alicia at [email protected] if you’d like to join us at Mountainwood Homes’ table for this wonderful event.
