Mountainwood Homes is partnering with Habitat for Humanity Willamette West to host our first Team Builder Day on Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 8am – 4pm in Beaverton. We are looking for past or current clients to roll up their sleeves and address the affordable housing crisis in our community.
This is a great opportunity to volunteer for a day of service in the community. Mountainwood Homes is a longtime supporter of Habitat for Humanity Willamette West affiliate.
When Robert and Heather Wood started Mountainwood Homes, they wanted to create a company that gave back to the communities in which we serve.
Each potential homeowners must put in 500 hours of “sweat equity” work to earn an opportunity to buy a Habitat home. We believe that which is worked for will mean far more than that which is given freely. Habitat is building communities of families who are proud of their homes because they had a part in creating their neighborhood.
Robert proudly served on the board of directors for the Willamette West Habitat for Humanity for many years. He has seen the impact this organization makes in the lives of families in our community.


How to Join Our Habitat for Humanity Team Builder Day

The construction site is open to only volunteers from our group. No construction experience is necessary. Habitat will provide tools, training, safety equipment and lunch.
