Where to Start When Considering a Remodel

Have you thought about embarking on a kitchen or bathroom remodel for years but don’t know where to start?

After watching plenty of HGTV marathons and spending hours adding images to ideabooks on Houzz, it’s time to take it to the next level.

There are few key pieces of information that you should think about before calling on Mountainwood Homes for professional design and construction services.

Scope of the Project

What do you want to change? What isn’t working in the space? What don’t you like? What improvements are you most interested in?

When a client calls us, it usually sounds like this: “I’m interested in a Kitchen remodel with all new cabinets, countertops, backsplash, appliances and plumbing.”

Who are the decision makers?

Will your husband/wife be involved and have an opinion in the project? Are you helping your parents with a remodel? Whoever is involved in the decisions with the remodel should be included from the very start so everyone is on the same page.

Timeline

When do you want to get the project started? Is this a project you want to start in the next few months, next year or further down the line?

Investment Level

How much are you willing to invest in the project? Often times, our clients don’t have an idea of how much their project will cost, and that’s fine – that’s what we are here to help you with. But the real question is, how much money can you allocate to the particular project? We don’t ask this to spend all of your money; we ask so we can get you a remodel that fits within your budget and accomplishes your goals.

The Mountainwood Homes team is here to guide you through your remodel and come up with a creative design that provides solutions to your home’s problems. If you are considering a remodel, let’s discuss how we can get it done for you.
