Thoughtful changes, fresh results.
Surrounded by trees, this 2006 Hillsboro kitchen felt dark and one-note, with cherry cabinetry, matching hardwood floors, brown granite, and an angled island. The homeowners initially hoped to keep the existing flooring, but after exploring options together, we found that replacing it gave them the lighter, more layered look they wanted and opened the door to redesigning the island as a furniture-style centerpiece.
