Our clients, two sisters, purchased this 1953 SW Portland ranch and knew they wanted to remodel the original kitchen right away. While the layout of the room mostly stayed the same, the entryway to the dining room was relocated to allow for an expanded kitchen cabinetry wall. Improvements to the cabinet layout, addition of the peninsula for casual seating, and updated appliance and plumbing fixtures creates a cheerful space! Their favorite part? The pop of teal color in the glass, hexagon tile backsplash!
- Built-in pantry has space for open shelving to house a small TV - perfect for viewing when cooking or casual dining at the peninsula
- New flooring had to be traffic friendly to accommodate their newer rescue dog, as well as unifying the rooms and hallway
