Favorite Portland-area Farmers Markets
Portland Farmers Market (at Portland State University)

Located Downtown Portland in the South Park Blocks between SW College & Montgomery Streets.
The PSU Market is in the pedestrian-only center of the Portland State University campus.
We can’t discuss farmers’ markets without starting with the top dog. The PSU Farmers’ Market is the year-round flagship market on the campus of Portland State University and welcomes up to 12,000 shoppers on a summer Saturday. Portland-area residents, chefs, and visitors worldwide flock to the market to browse as many as 130 vendor stalls. It’s the “must-do” Saturday Portland experience.

Cedar Mill Farmers Market

The Cedar Mill Farmers Market brings fresh and local produce to the neighborhood. The market was started in 1999 and features a variety of hot food vendors, flowers, local music, and kid’s programs.

Why we love it: Besides being a community staple since 1988, the Beaverton Farmers Market features Music at the Market, community events, cooking demonstrations, food drives, and more!
The Beaverton Farmers Market is a destination market. It’s located across from the Beaverton Library in the heart of downtown Beaverton. The market averages 15,000 and 20,000 visitors during the summer on any Saturday. The market features both conventional and organic nursery growers, farmers, and ranchers. Artisan food producers offer prepared products, ranging from fruit jams to farmstead cheeses, bread and pastries, pickles, pasta, chocolate, and more. The market also offers many amenities, including live music each week and proximity to the central Beaverton Library and City Park, which includes a playground, interactive fountain, and picnic tables. The Beaverton Farmers Market is the perfect place for families to spend the day.

Aloha Community Farmers’ Market

Farmington Market Place in Aloha
The Aloha Community Farmers’ Market (ACFM) began in May 2016, based on feedback from the 2015 Aloha-Reedville Community Living Plan that indicated a strong desire for a farmers’ market in unincorporated Washington County. Since then, the market has moved to Farmington Market Place (directly across from Mountain View Middle School in Aloha) and grown to almost 30 regular vendors featuring an array of locally grown produce and prepared food from farmers and food vendors across the region, as well as high-quality handmade crafts and products from our many artisan friends and neighbors.
Hillsboro Farmers’ Market

A tradition since 1982, the Downtown Hillsboro Saturday Market is a seasonal open-air market located in the heart of Hillsboro. This market celebrates the city’s rich agricultural history by connecting the community with local farmers and artisans that provide fresh, seasonal produce and products. Spend the day with your family shopping, grabbing a bite to eat, enjoying featured musicians, and engaging in interactive programs.

Are you looking for a way to entertain the kids? Kids ages 4-12 will have a blast participating in the Farm Fresh Kids program, where they head to the Market Information booth at the entrance to the market and answer the Farm Fresh Question of the Day. Answer correctly, and kiddos can earn $1 in Market tokens to purchase fruits and veggies. Don’t forget to grab the weekly activity sheet filled with interactive riddles, scavenger hunts, word searches, fun facts, color pages, and more.
Visit with over 80 vendors and nearly 8,000 participants each week. The Lake Oswego Farmers’ Market makes for a great social gathering spot in an open-air setting for the Lake Oswego community and neighbors.

Lake Grove Farmers’ Market

In the spring of 2021, the team unveiled a pilot Farmers’ Market in Lake Grove. It was so popular, they’re bringing it back in the Fall of 2022! The Lake Grove Market is a small-scale, food-focused Market of approximately 25-30 vendors.
