Classic & Colorful

Location: Portland, OR

Bringing a fresh perspective to traditional.

The small hall bathroom in this 1938 SW Portland home was due for an upgrade. The goal was to remodel the hall bathroom to reflect the traditional feeling of the home but not be so serious. Because of the room’s small size, it was difficult for the space to function well before. Although the size of the room remained the same, creating spaces and elements like the ledge that runs on the wall behind the vanity and functions as the windowsill tie the elements together. Redoing the shower, installing the glass door, and extending the wainscot tile makes the bathroom feel so much bigger.

We partnered with Sharon Hocking Interior Design to bring this bathroom to life.
