From closed-off to connected.
This 1992 Tualatin kitchen remodel came to us through a referral from a past Mountainwood client. The homeowners love entertaining friends with young children but found it challenging to supervise kids when the family room was hidden from the kitchen. We removed a wall between the kitchen and dining room, creating an open, connected space with clear sightlines. The expanded kitchen now offers a clean, uncluttered design perfect for watching football games while keeping an eye on little ones.
