Kismet Reimagined

Location: Portland, OR

Dark. Moody. Refined design.

After 20 years in their Northwest Portland home, our clients were finally ready for the remodel they’d long envisioned. They loved the Northwest Contemporary architecture, original layout, and their neighborhood but time had caught up with them. Failing appliances, an awkward primary bathroom, and outdated finishes throughout made change inevitable. They partnered with Mountainwood Homes for a whole-home remodel that honored what worked, like the round skylights and banquet footprint, while thoughtfully transforming what didn’t.
