New Chapter

Location: Portland, OR

Embracing the next phase.

With a busy career and family life, the homeowner put updating her 1961 home in the Hillsdale neighborhood of SW Portland on hold. Now that her teenage boys are getting older and moving on, she’s reclaimed the house for herself.

The long-awaited home remodel reflects a current style and allows the family to embrace their new phase of life. While the layout worked well, the materials needed upgrading. The Portland whole house renovation brightened the dark kitchen and transformed the primary bath into a pink haven—a quick and fun decision.
