Emily Schultz

Emily Schultz has spent much of her life in motion. From her years as a professional ballerina to her passion for aerial arts, she finds joy in staying creative and always moving forward.

That mindset carries into her role as Design Coordinator at Mountainwood Homes. Emily credits much of her success to discipline. “Years as a dancer taught me to show up, put in the reps, and keep refining until it’s right, and I bring that same persistence to every project.” Today, she helps keep countless details organized behind the scenes, ensuring projects move smoothly from concept to completion.

If Emily could choose her own job title, it would be “Behind-the-Scenes Magician,” making sure every tile, fixture, knob, and decision stays organized, on track, and moving forward.

Originally from New Berlin, Wisconsin, Emily moved to West Linn as a teenager and is proud to call Oregon home. She was drawn to Mountainwood by the quality of its work and how much the team cares. Four years later, it’s the people she gets to learn from every day and the opportunity to continue growing that keep her here.

Before joining Mountainwood, Emily remodeled a restaurant in Casper, Wyoming, and furnished several Airbnb properties, including one of her own. Those experiences reinforced what she loves most about design: solving problems and creating spaces that reflect the people who live in them. She describes herself as creative, driven, and warm, and enjoys helping clients make selections that not only look beautiful but feel genuinely theirs.

Outside of work, Emily and her husband stay busy with their one-year-old child and their cattle dog mix, Auggie Doggie. They love spending time outdoors, fishing, and exploring Oregon together, especially Central Oregon, their favorite home away from home. One of Emily’s most memorable adventures was a professional dance tour through remote Alaska, where she performed in communities accessible only by boat or small plane. She also hopes to return to aerial performance soon. “I haven’t been in the air since becoming a mom, and getting back on stage by the end of 2026 is a real goal of mine.”
