Tino Gonzalez

Tino Gonzalez is a Craftsman at Mountainwood Homes and one half of Mountainwood’s dynamic brother duo alongside his older brother, Jose. The two are often paired together on jobsites, bringing reliability, teamwork, and plenty of personality wherever they go. Tino jokes, “When I see my brother, I ask him, ‘Are you tired?’ but the way he acts, he doesn’t show it.” Their friendly competition and constant teamwork have made them favorites among both clients and teammates.

If you’ve spent time around Tino, you know two things right away: he’s probably smiling, and he’s probably already figuring out how to solve the problem.

With more than 20 years of construction experience, Tino brings energy, positivity, and a deep sense of pride to every project he touches. He joined the Mountainwood team in 2014 and continues to learn and grow in his role. He loves everything about remodeling because every day is different, the work stays interesting, and there is always something new to figure out. One day might involve installing doors, the next removing a stubborn window, troubleshooting cabinetry, or coordinating how to move an oversized door that “might need four tall guys” to install. For Tino, that challenge is part of the fun.

He describes himself simply: “I build stuff. Fix things.” But behind that simplicity is a craftsman who genuinely cares about quality work and learning new skills from experienced teammates and trade partners and understanding how everything is put together. Tino is competitive, moves fast, but never at the expense of craftsmanship. If something needs fixing, he believes it should be handled the right way now, not later.

Outside of work, Tino loves sports of all kinds, especially basketball. Whether he’s solving a tricky construction detail or giving a thumbs up for a jobsite photo, Tino brings contagious positivity and heart to the Mountainwood team every single day.
